Movie Night at Bird's Bookstore: School of Rock

Pajamas on, popcorn in hand, settle in for a Friday movie night among the stacks. Help us watch our way through A24's book Hey Kids, Watch This!, one movie at a time. Next up! The back to school classic, "School of Rock".

A24 set out to squash the ubiquitous family debate with Hey Kids, Watch This!, a wonderfully interactive book of over 100 kid- and adult-approved movie night recommendations. We're excited to start this tradition in-store and hope it becomes one for your family too.

About the Movie
School of Rock is a 2003 musical comedy film starring Jack Black. Black plays Dewey Finn, a slacker and struggling rock guitarist who, after being kicked out of his band, impersonates his roommate to get a substitute teaching job at a prestigious prep school.
