Introduction to Cottage Foods in Florida

Join us for a fun and interactive entrepreneurship workshop from UF/IFAS Extension Wakulla County! Participants will learn the essential steps to start and operate a cottage food business in Florida. The workshop will cover Florida’s cottage food law, including eligible products, sales limitations, labeling requirements, and food safety best practices. The program will also address common challenges, available resources, and tips for compliance with state regulations. By the end of the workshop, participants will have the knowledge and confidence needed to evaluate opportunities and begin selling approved homemade food products legally in Florida.
