Terrarium Building Workshop

Build your own terrarium at the Lifesaving Station!

Join Jon, the owner of Roots and Rivers, for a 2-hour workshop on Sandy Hook at the historic Lifesaving Station. During this hands-on experience, you will learn how to build your very own mini-ecosystem from start to finish. Jon will guide you through each layer and explain its purpose, so you will leave with a beautiful, low-maintenance terrarium to take home.

All materials are provided and no experience is needed. Children as young as 5 can join with a parent or another adult. All participants under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Price is per terrarium. If you will be sharing the terrarium among multiple people, for example, a child and a parent building one terrarium together, please mention that in the comments so we can prepare the space to accommodate the number of participants.
