Ben Tumin, the satirist profiled in The New York Times, returns for one last romp through The Power Broker.

After sold-out runs of Parts One and Two, Ben concludes his trilogy by exploring how Robert Moses fell from power—how New Yorkers, like the Knicks, slayed Goliath. Ben weaves in author Robert Caro's story to see why Caro wrote 1,400 pages about New York's most infamous figure, and traces his own metamorphosis while on this project. Somehow, he no longer hates Robert Moses. And, after close to ten shows covering Moses, Caro, and himself, Ben shifts the lens to New Yorkers: why are we still so obsessed with a guy who built parks and highways 75 years ago?

This show stands on its own. You do not need to have seen Parts One or Two. Ben will get you caught up. Nor do you have to have read any of The Power Broker! The show exists so you don't have to read it if you don't have the time. Already read it and you're obsessed? Also great. You'll leave knowing things you didn't.
