Boca El Rio Trail Tree Planting | Volunteers (9/19/26)

We're teaming up with the City of Boca Raton to plant 100 native shade trees along a stretch of El Rio Trail on Saturday, Sept. 19th starting at 9am, and we need YOUR help to get them in the ground!

CG Arborists and our trained Tree Technicians will be on hand to lead the group, and guide/assist volunteers. No experience needed, and all skill levels and physical capabilities welcomed. We encourage anyone to join us who is interested in getting their hands a little dirty, while helping a great cause.

Community Greening will provide all of the tools needed, have work gloves to borrow, as well as water and light snacks. We'll even have a DJ on-site to keep things fun!

Please wear closed-toe shoes, and clothing that can get a little dirty. We also encourage you to wear a hat and sunscreen.

Families are welcome, all minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian for the entire duration.

The planting will take place on a stretch of El Rio Trail just south of Clint Moore Blvd. Parking and trail access will be at 6551 Park of Commerce Blvd, Boca Raton, FL 33487.

Event will be cancelled in the event of a forecasted Excessive Heat Warning or heavy rains. An email will be sent to all volunteers as soon as possible in the event of these circumstances.
