What time should I arrive, and what if I'm late?

Check-in begins at 5:30 PM, but arriving at 6:00 PM is perfectly fine too. There's plenty of time to check in and grab a cocktail before we begin. Running late? No worries! We'll welcome you in, and your seat and art supplies will be waiting for you.

Can I come by myself?

Absolutely. Salon Evenings are designed to be welcoming and social, whether you come on your own, with a friend, or as a group.

Will food and drinks be available?

Yes! Your ticket includes one complimentary cocktail and a selection of light nibbles served throughout the evening. Additional cocktails, wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, and Hotel Figueroa's full food menu will also be available for purchase throughout the event.

What should I wear?

I always say dress to impress, but wear something comfortable! We'll be using water-based paint, and while aprons will be provided, we recommend avoiding delicate fabrics just in case.

Where should I park?

Valet parking is available at Hotel Figueroa. Salon guests will receive a special event rate on valet parking, making it the easiest and most convenient way to attend. There is also a more affordable option for parking on the back side of the hotel property.

How many guests will be attending?

To keep the experience intimate, each Salon Evening is limited to 30 guests. We'll gather in the Gran Sala, Hotel Figueroa's beautiful historic ballroom, offering plenty of space to create inside one of Downtown LA's most iconic 100-year-old landmark hotels.

Will I get to meet the artist?

Yes! Emily will be leading the workshop, sharing stories behind her work, and spending the evening creating alongside guests.

Is the event ADA accessible?

Yes. Hotel Figueroa and the Gran Sala are ADA accessible. We want every guest to feel comfortable and welcome. If you have any accessibility questions or accommodations you'd like to discuss before the event, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Not at all. This workshop is designed for all skill levels, and Emily will guide you through the process from start to finish.
