Unlike a movement-based yoga class, Yoga Nidra is typically practiced lying down or seated comfortably, while being led through breath awareness, body sensing, visualization, and quiet reflection.</p><h2>Purpose of the Practice</h2><p>The purpose of Yoga Nidra is to create the conditions for deep rest, inner listening, and nervous system regulation. The practice supports a shift away from constant doing and into a state of ease, where participants can reconnect with their body, breath, and present-moment awareness.
