CoolPro – High Energy Efficient Building Solutions at ISW 2026

In line with the Malaysian govt. target to achieve zero carbon emission by 2050, CHBM has initiated a study on Energy Efficient (EE) Building Solutions using products that are offered by its subsidiary. The solutions provided by CHBM include Starken Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) IBS Wall to protect the building envelope, coupled with Starken Drymix’s thermal insulating pre-mix plaster. Ajiya Low E (emissivity) glass panels are installed at window and external doors to ensure minimal heat transfer into the building. The roof system is built using Ajiya pre-insulated metal roofing system.

CoolPro Design is one of the alternative solutions that will make the world a ‘greener’ place to live in. Using CoolPro Design would greatly reduce the operating cost of the building. An analysis (by simulation) has been conducted on double storey terraced house indicates that the homeowner can potentially save up to 39% of electricity bill, compared with buildings built using conventional building systems (i.e. plastered clay brick wall, with normal glass & concrete roof tiles).
