Hacienda Del Sol Guest Ranch Resort

Join sound healing practitioner Kyle Lam for an intimate four hour intensive dedicated to exploring the transformative art of gong healing. Designed for beginners, wellness practitioners, and anyone seeking a deeper connection with sound, this hands on training offers the opportunity to learn directly from Kyle while working on his personal collection of more than eight planetary gongs. Limited to just 10 participants, this immersive experience allows for personalized instruction, individual guidance, and extensive hands on practice with a diverse range of professional instruments rarely available in a single training.Throughout this immersive experience, Kyle will teach you how to use the gong as a powerful tool for self healing while developing the technical skills needed to confidently play the instrument from both a musical and meditative perspective. Rather than simply learning how to strike a gong, you will discover how intentional movement, rhythm, resonance, and vibration can create deeply restorative sound experiences that support relaxation, emotional healing, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation. Kyle will guide you through the proper techniques for producing rich harmonics, sustained resonance, and dynamic expression while helping you cultivate a grounded and intuitive relationship with the instrument.Working with more than eight different planetary gongs, Kyle will introduce you to the unique tonal qualities, elemental energies, frequencies, and characteristics that make each gong distinct. You will explore how different tone ranges can influence the body, mind, and heart while learning when and why to use each gong within your own personal practice or sound healing sessions. Kyle will also teach proper body mechanics, mallet selection, striking techniques, dynamic control, and methods for creating intentional sound journeys that are both musically expressive and deeply meditative.More than simply learning an instrument, this training is an invitation to develop a lifelong relationship with sound as a practice of self awareness and inner healing. Whether your goal is to establish a personal gong meditation practice, deepen your own healing journey, or begin incorporating the gong into your existing sound healing offerings, Kyle will provide a practical and approachable foundation that emphasizes confidence, presence, musicality, and intentional facilitation.
During this training, Kyle will instruct you on:
• The foundations of gong healing and how sound can support self healing and deep relaxation• How vibration, resonance, and frequency influence the mind, body, and heart• The unique tonal characteristics, elemental energies, and frequencies of more than eight planetary gongs• Proper posture, body mechanics, and playing techniques for producing a rich and balanced sound• How different mallets create unique textures, dynamics, and harmonic expression• Techniques for creating sustained resonance, overtones, and immersive soundscapes• How to confidently play the gong from both a musical and meditative perspective• Practical methods for using the gong to support meditation, mindfulness, and emotional well being• Foundational approaches for creating intentional gong journeys for yourself and others• Guidance for incorporating the gong into your own personal wellness practice or professional sound healing offeringsThis training is ideal for complete beginners, experienced sound healers looking to expand their skills, yoga and meditation teachers, wellness practitioners, and anyone who feels called to experience the profound healing potential of the gong while learning directly from one of Southern California's leading sound healing practitioners.Total Investment: $450 per personLimited to only 10 participants to ensure every student receives individualized coaching, personal feedback, and meaningful hands-on experience with each of the planetary gongs.Whether you are beginning your journey into sound healing or expanding an existing practice, this immersive training offers a rare opportunity to learn directly from Kyle while experiencing the remarkable depth, beauty, and therapeutic power of the gong in an intimate and supportive environment.
