Work with former ARTnews editor Robin Cembalest to craft your essential artist texts. First of two sessions

In this two-session package of intensive 90-minute classes, you’ll work with editor Robin Cembalest to write--and rewrite--your artist bio and statement.In the first session, Robin will focus on the bio. She’ll share a presentation with templates and examples from artists across various disciplines. Then, after Q&amp;A, each participant will have the chance to share their bio of up to 200 words. Robin will offer feedback and suggest specific changes. Then, participants will rewrite their bios in preparation for the next session.In the second session, Robin will share a presentation on the artist statement. Then, after Q&amp;A, participants will share their rewritten bios and Robin will offer more feedback.The former longtime editor of ARTnews, Robin draws on her deep experience working with writers to help each artist craft a text that highlights their work to best advantage.
