I don't have any of these drums! Can I still attend?

Let us know in advance which drum(s) you are missing and we will do our best to provide it for you! There are multiple frame drums and darbukas available to borrow in the studio. We have a limited  number of riqqs so please let us know ASAP if this is the one you're missing.

Question 2

Do I need to have musical knowledge beforehand?

Accepted Answer

Some experience is recommended, but not required. The instructor will break down technique and rhythms in multiple ways so even if this is your first time picking up an instrument, you will be able to follow along.

Why are there two ticket types? Which one do I buy?

Accepted Answer

Celeste Drum & Dance will be hosting a dance workshop on Wednesday, Aug 26. from 7-9PM. This workshop will introduce the veil as dance prop: how to hold, move, and glide gracefully on the stage with it. Each workshop is $30 each or you can take both for $50!
