<h2>Bright Spot Connect Morning- August 2026</h2>Join us for Bright Spot, a special event designed to give both kids and caregivers a chance to recharge. Caregivers can drop off their kids and teens for a fun-filled Kids Morning Out packed with games, crafts, lunch, and time with peers. Teens will enjoy Teens Morning Out for a special off-site activity. Meanwhile, adults are invited to stay for a relaxing mixer with drinks, snacks, giveaways, and connection with other adults who understand the foster/kinship/adoptive journey. After the mixer, head out for a few hours of kid-free time while we care for your crew! Kids (Ages 0–10): 9 am - 12 pmChildren will enjoy a lively, Mexico mission–themed morning filled with fun and friendship. They’ll rotate through a variety of engaging activities including building a passport, making cultural snacks, themed crafts, and more. Our team of trained volunteers will ensure kids are safe, supported, and having a blast throughout the morning. We will make sure your kids are fed lunch before they go. Pre-teens &amp; Teens (Ages 11–17): 9 am - 12 pmPre-teens &amp; Teens will kick off the morning with a hands-on activity. We will wrap up with food, fun games, plenty of laughter, and a chance to relax and connect with friends. Adult Mixer (Caregivers): 9:15 - 10 amWhile the kids are off having fun, caregivers are invited to stay for a relaxed mixer designed just for you. Enjoy coffee and light snacks while connecting with other foster, kinship, and adoptive caregivers who understand the unique challenges and joys of your journey. There will be space for casual conversation, meaningful connection, and a chance to win some fun prizes before you head out for a few kid-free hours to rest, recharge, or run errands—whatever you need most.
