C. Hesse Cheese 101 Class

We believe a deeper of enjoyment of cheese can be achieved through education, presented in an approachable and exciting way. Come and explore the world of old milk with C. Hesse Cheese and we’ll teach you how to be the smartest person at the cocktail party (about cheese).

In our Cheese Class 101, we’ll share all of our invaluable cheese knowledge with you - the various styles, nuances and intricacies and all the wonderful dairy traditions. You’ll hear about the labor intensive, multi-step cheesemaking process and then have ample time to learn how to properly examine and taste a varied selection of cheeses from our catalog.

Each class runs from 6:30p-7:30p and includes:

• An hour long class on the cheesemaking process and styles of cheese
• Learning how to taste and examine 5 fine cheeses
• All the cheese knowledge you could want in the world plus a few things you wish you didn’t know!
• Sometimes the class runs a little over depending on student engagement
