CRAVE, by Sarah Kane

British playwright Sarah Kane was only 28 when she died by suicide in 1999. In that short window, she wrote five plays that completely split audiences down the middle—people either hated them or absolutely worshiped them. In Kane’s penultimate play, CRAVE, she strips away traditional narrative structure, using four interlocking voices to navigate a haunting landscape of lost love and psychological survival.

OBIE-winning company Hoi Polloi (Celine Song's Family, Robert Quillen Camp's White on White), brings a sharp, visceral approach to Kane's poetic quartet, immersing the audience in an intimate production that brings out the raw intensity of Kane's most formally adventurous work.

IMPORTANT: the venue is NOT ADA-accessible -- the only entry to the space involves a full staircase leading down to the space from the street. There is also no bathroom for attendees.
