Sensational Poetry with Karen Gardner

Explore and employ sensory images to strengthen your writing! We will write poetry about any subject, beginning with our senses. For example, we’ll cover our eyes and select “blindly” from items that Karen will provide. These simple sensory inspirations are for poets at all levels. We will have the option to share our poetry fresh off the page.

Karen’s poetry has appeared in the anthologies Gnomes and Ungnomes: Poems of Hidden Creatures (Writers' Loft Press) and Mindful Poetry Moments (The Well); and in Ad Libitum, the art and literary magazine published by Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She has offered writing workshops and readings at the Town of Pelham Public Library, Huguenot Children's Library, and Dobbs Ferry Public Library.
