WIBO Plan: How to Build a Growing, Profitable Business @ Queens College

The key part of a WIBO participant’s journey is the peer-based learning workshop How to Build a Growing, Profitable Business that helps current and aspiring entrepreneurs start, run, and grow sustainable businesses. Over sixteen three-hour sessions, preceded by a three-hour preparatory session, participants prepare, one unit at a time, their own comprehensive business plans. Each unit focuses on a topic such as marketing, personnel, and financial management. Each unit includes a case study and a facilitated discussion on the unit’s topic, and their work becomes sections of their overall business plans. Participants graduate with deep knowledge of all aspects of building a successful enterprise, and become lifetime members of a supportive community of experts and fellow entrepreneurs.

The investment in the workshop is $360 which will be required before the start of the workshop once you have been accepted but there is a $20 application fee which will go towards you full investment. Partial scholarships are available upon request.
