Can Children attend?

Accepted Answer

Yes.  Children can attend and help their parent/guardian with the steps in making makgeolli.  We use just 3 ingredients - rice, water and nuruk.  There is no alcohol at this first step!  Only those over 21 can participate in the tastings.

Question 2

Can I bring a friend, partner, spouse, etc.?

Accepted Answer

Yes, but each person over 18 must have their own ticket.  Each ticketed person will make and take home a batch of makgeolli.  Only those over 21 can participate in the tastings.

Question 3

Do you have food?

Accepted Answer

Sorry, we won't have food as part of the class.  We recognize that we are scheduling this during lunchtime.  We recommend eating brunch before attending!  Or bring a boxed lunch to eat durign the class.
