Wild Foods Walk

Wild Foods Walk

Overview

Learn how to identify edible tree foods and harvest some of the bounty from our local trees this fall season!

Come learn what fall foods we can eat directly from the land!

Join us for the fall tradition of foraging for tree nuts. We'll focus on nuts from oaks and hickory trees that we can process together at our Wild Harvest Workshop later this year.

Come to learn how to identify the trees and the nuts that you can forage and make food from!

This event is free and open to people of all ages. It will involve walking for about an hour at a slow pace over grassy, mostly flat terrain.
