Join us for the return of LuthierCon—a unique day of music, performance, and education by and for classical guitar luthiers and classical guitar players.
LuthierCon brings classical guitar luthiers and players together to learn about, celebrate, and discuss the art of classical guitar building. Discover the ins and outs of the classical guitar with presentations, a luthier Q&A panel, demonstrations, and performances with special guest artists, and plenty of free time to play guitars, talk with the luthiers, and other players.
This year’s featured luthiers include Matt Rubendall, Garrett Lee, Lubos Naprstek, Brian Itzkin, Andy Danser, Zongzheng Guitar Studio, Matt Jacobs/Shadowfax Guitars, and RetroFret Vintage Guitars. Additional luthiers and exhibitors will be announced soon.
This year’s guest artists are Jack Hancher and Alberta Khoury.
This is an all-day event. Bring your guitars to sell or share!
Lunch will be served. Free parking is available at Brooklyn Army Terminal.
Tickets are $50. Early-bird, BKCGS member, scholarships, and student discounts are available.
