Registration is required because The ARC's leisure pool has a limited capacity. Reserving a ticket for each attendee helps us manage attendance and ensure we do not exceed the number of people in the pool area can safely accommodate.

Do adults need tickets?

Yes. Every person attending, including parents, guardians, caregivers, and children must have a ticket.

Can I register my entire family in one order?

Accepted Answer

Yes. One adult may reserve tickets for the entire household, within the ticket limits.

Does my child have to be registered in ReadSquared to attend?

Accepted Answer

No. Children may attend whether they are registered in the ReadSquared app, attended summer reading events, or participated in both. However, space is limited, so advance registration is required this year.

Question 6

What if my child used a paper reading log instead of ReadSquared?

Accepted Answer

Bring your completed paper reading log to Library staff so the child's participation can be entered into ReadSquared. Completing a reading log may make the child eligible to attend, but it does not guarantee admission. A separate Eventbrite ticket per adult/child is still required.

Will there be a check-in on the day of the event?

Yes. All attendees must be registered in advance through two separate check-ins: (1) The Library will verify that every adult and child has a reserved ticket. (2) Your party will then check in with the ARC to complete their safety protocols, including signing a pool waiver.

What should I do if my family needs more than five child tickets?

Accepted Answer

Please contact the Library before submitting multiple registrations for larger households. However, this event is intended for individual families and cannot accommodate daycares, camps, or large groups. A parent or legal guardian must be present to complete the required waiver for each child.

Question 9

What should I reserve a ticket(s), but can no longer attend?

Accepted Answer

Please cancel your reservation or contact the library to release those tickets so they are available for another family.

Question 10

Will walk-ins be accepted, or can I register at the door?

Accepted Answer

Advance registration is strongly encouraged, and every adult and child must have a ticket. Same-day registration may be avialable through Eventbrite only if tickets remain, but admissions cannot be guaranteed.

How many tickets may I reserve?

Accepted Answer

Each household may reserve up to two adult tickets and five child tickets.
