Southern Feast for Aug. 10 Meatless Meetup

South Carolina native Chef Norwood Pryor presents this amazing dinner on Monday August 10. Service begins at 6pm at Baby Bear Biscuits Southern Cafe, 811 Froom Ranch Way in the new SLO Ranch Marketplace in San Luis Obispo. The event is open to all ages, and also welcomes dogs.

Tickets are $25, which includes the full dinner menu, and sweet or unsweet tea. The price doesn't include beer, wine, or other beverages. And don't forget to tip your servers!

Full menu:

–Corn fritters with Pimento relish;

–Vegan biscuits with seasonal jams (Okui strawberries and Central Coast organic berries);

–Old Bay poached celeriac "crab" cakes, plant-based remoulade, baby gem lettuce and heirloom tomatoes, pickled cucumber, dill viniagrette;

–House-made smoked "chicken", Nashville seasoning, succotash, whole grain mustard pan sauce, wilted greens;

–Cobbler of Central Valley Peaches, cinnamon coconut anglaise, peach salsa fresca.
