Is there parking at the event?

Only for those cars registered to show their classic cars at the Car Show.  There is ample parking around the Elks Lodge on surface streets throughout the neighborhood.  Signage and volunteers will help guide you.

When can the Car Show participants park their classic cars?

Accepted Answer

Those cars registered for the car show can start to park at 6:00 am.  There will be volunteers directing all cars on where to park. Once parked, the car may not be moved until the end of the show at 3:00 pm.  Please have your car parked no later than 8:00 am. Show starts at 9:00 am.

Are groups of car show participants able to park together?

Yes, however you must come into the event together as a group.  Once you are parked, the cars may not be moved until the show is over.

When & where is the Car Show?

The 26th Annual Westchester Car Show is held Saturday September12th from 9am-3pm at the Westchester Elks Lodge #2050, located at 8025 W. Manchester Ave, Los Angeles 90293 in the parking lot behind the Lodge. Cars being shown in the car show can enter after 6am & the show starts at 9am.

Is there an entry fee?

Spectators are free.  Car registration (to display your classic car) is $35.00 plus fees, which includes you dash plaque, food & drink ticket & car show participant goody bag. An email will be sent to all participants regarding parking times and further information regarding showing your vehicle.

How do I register my classic car/vehicle?

You can pre-register online via this eventbrite website (see tab that notes Tickets/Car Show Registration).  You can also register on the day of the event, however space is limited and those who pre-register are guaranteed a spot in the show.  Early registration through Eventbrite is encouraged!

What type of cars are welcome?

Since this is a classic car show, we welcome all pre-1985 cars, hot rods, muscle cars, customs, motorcycles and all makes/models with character. If you are proud of your ride (even if it is newer than 1985) we want to see it.

Are Awards given out for the Car Show?

Yes.  There are a variety of awards including but not limited to Best in Show, People's Choice, Best Custom, etc.   Please note that all Awards are for vehicles per-1985 since this is a Classic Car show.

Is there food and drinks available?

Accepted Answer

Yes! There will be 10 chili tastings.  Additionally, the Elks will be grilling up hot dogs, and burgers, as well as snacks, beverages (including a Beer Garden for those over age 21) and soft drinks for purchase.  All proceeds support our local community programs & Elks charities.

Is this a family friendly event?

Absolutely. This is a community event & all ages are welcome.  We usually have music and some activities for the kids as well as vendors.

Can I bring my dog?

No, dogs are not allowed inside the Lodge or the patio area, with the exception of certified service dogs.

What does the Elks Lodge do with the funds raised at the event?

Accepted Answer

Proceeds support local Elks charitable programs, including youth scholarships, veterans' services, community outreach and more.

Does the Lodge accept cashless payments?

Yes, while cash & exact change is appreciated, we gladly accept credit/debit cards & Venmo at the event.

Will there be car show t-shirts available for purchase at the event?
