The Launch Place is an entrepreneurship development organization with the purpose to plan, fund, launch and grow companies in the IT, software, advanced manufacturing and medical device industries. We help companies to get started or to expand their operations by providing business consulting services, office space, residential and office rent subsidies, and by potentially investing in them through our two investment funds. We have two funds: pre-seed (early stage) funding up to $75k and seed funding up to $250k.

Payroll, Records, Reports and Receivables for Small Business Accounting is your how-to guide for:<ol><li>Payroll: How to streamline your payroll process.</li><li>Recording Transactions: Learn about recording sales and revenue, tracking expenses; categorizing and recording different types of expenses; reconciling accounts and the bank reconciliation process, matching books to bank statements.</li><li>Managing Accounts Receivable and Payable- Understand accounts receivable, recording invoices and tracking payments; managing overdue accounts; accounts payable, recording bills and scheduling payments; maintaining good vendor relationships.</li><li>Generating Financial Reports- How to create reports that give insight into the health of your business with balance sheets; overview of a company's financial position; income statements (profit &amp; loss statement); showing revenue and expenses over time; cash flow statements, tracking cash inflows and outflows.</li></ol>Small Business Accounting: Payroll, Records, Reports and Receivables is part of a series of workshops featuring legal and accounting counseling from licensed professionals.
