The evening is a fundraiser, a celebration, and a declaration that legacy isn’t just what you build for yourself, it’s what you leave behind for others.

You’ll witness the honoring of exceptional Black professionals, raise a glass alongside South Florida’s most intentional leaders, and have the opportunity to be among the first to put your name behind a fund designed to create measurable, year-round impact.

THE CERTIFIED LEGACY FUND

The Certified Legends Ball is more than a celebration. It is a fundraising mission.

This inaugural evening will serve as the launchpad for BPN’s Certified Legacy Fund, a giving vehicle created to mobilize capital from our community toward causes that directly strengthen our communities.

Here’s how it works:

Each of BPN’s four Legacy Houses represents a different way we deploy our collective influence, resources, and relationships in service of something bigger. The fund is structured around these four houses, and each one will direct its raised dollars toward one nonprofit projects aligned with its mission, totaling four for 2027:

🔴 Guardian Fund: Supports organizations that protect the foundations individuals, families, and communities need to thrive: homeownership, financial security, mental wellness, and community stability.

🔵 Diplomat Fund: Backs organizations that open doors: expanding access, creating pathways for people to reenter, advance, lead, and influence in spaces where representation matters.

🟢 Tycoon Fund: Fuels organizations that expand access to capital, ownership, and the tools entrepreneurs and wealth-builders need to start, sustain, and scale.

🟡 Luminary Fund: Invests in organizations focused on education, exposure, and STEAM opportunities that prepare the next generation to create, innovate, and lead.

On the night of the Ball, the four Houses go head to head. Every donation is attributed to a House, and live standings are updated throughout the evening.

🏆 Honoree Recognition Exceptional Black professionals celebrated for excellence in leadership, business, and community impact

💰 Certified Legacy Fund Launch The inaugural unveiling of BPN’s philanthropic fund, with a live fundraising moment inviting everyone in the room to contribute to something that outlasts the evening

🥂 Open Bar & Passed Canapés A curated reception with craft cocktails, Michelin’ chef-selected bites, and a dessert station all evening long

🎲 Casino-Style Activations Try your hand at the tables between conversations, each dollar you play goes towards supporting the fund.

🎶 DJ & Dancing After the program wraps, the energy stays up until close

LEGACYCON WEEKEND 2026 (October 2–3) The Certified Legends Ball is the opening night of LegacyCon Weekend, a weekend experience featuring the Black Professional Summit on Saturday and VIP programming on Sunday. Weekend passes available.
