Meadow Tour at Circle Forest and Callahan Park

Overview

Join Detroit Bird Alliance and Arboretum Detroit for a walk through the meadows at the peak of their beauty!

The walk will start and end at Circle Forest(3301 Palmer St Detroit) and walk through Callahan Park.

Cirlce Forest is a restoration project created by Arboretum Detroit and Callahan Park is the first Detroit Bird City park restored with a native grass and flower meadow in 2019. We will walk through other Arboretum Detroit sites including Oxygen Alley, and Treetroit 1. As we walk you will learn all about the meadow habitat and wildlife.

This walk will be co-led by DBA's Ava Landgraf and our Callahan Park Steward, Miles Honey! Miles is a neighbor to these spaces and has been helping with monitoring Callahan Park throughout 2026.

We will have binoculars for attendees to borrow.

Bathroom facilities are not available.
