Create, print, and bind your own zine in this three-week workshop. Explore ideas, develop your project, and print on the Risograph.
A Three-Week Workshop: September 5, September 12, and September 19th,11:30 am - 1:30 pm
Make a zine from scratch over three Saturdays — from first idea to finished, printed, bound object.
Week One is about inspiration: we'll look at how different artists approach zine-making and work through prompts designed to spark ideas for your project.
Week Two is about making: we work on individual projects together, workshopping challenges in format, structure, and content.
Week Three is about printing and finishing: we print on the Risograph and finish your zine with folds, cuts, and simple binding.
Each participant prints 2 masters — 10 impressions each — in any available color, with the option to add on at District Riso's standard pricing.
Open to all levels. No experience necessary.
