This Eventbrite page is only for obtaining the JLPT registration form for the December 2026 exam.

After you get a ticket, the JLPT registration form link will be sent to the email address you provide on Eventbrite.
You MUST submit that registration form.
Getting an Eventbrite ticket alone does NOT complete your registration.

Please read the entire description below very carefully. Missing or misunderstanding any part may result in losing your seat.

Age Restriction

The following age requirements are effective from the December 2026 exam for candidates taking the JLPT at the SOAS venue:

• We do not accept candidates aged 15 years old and under at the SOAS test venue.
• Candidates aged 16 and 17 are permitted to take the exam; however, the following conditions apply:
• • A parent or legal guardian must remain in the designated waiting area within the venue for the entire duration of the exam.
  • Waiting outside the designated area or leaving the premises during the exam period is not permitted.
  • A Parental Consent Form and Liability Form must be submitted after registration. These forms will be sent to candidates via email following successful registration.

Before beginning the registration process, all applicants must read the JLPT 2026 Guide and agree to all conditions.

If you have questions about the guide or the registration process, you must email us BEFORE the application opening date.

We cannot respond to any enquiries during the registration period due to high volume.
Make sure to clarify everything in advance.

2. IMPORTANT: Name & Email Requirements

The name and email address you enter during the Eventbrite transaction and registration form must meet the following rules:

✔ 1. Candidate Name Must Match

The name submitted on Eventbrite must match the candidate’s full legal name exactly (middle name can be omitted).

• If a parent, friend, or organisation is making the purchase, they must enter the candidate’s name, not their own.
  Incorrect or mismatched names will invalidate the registration.

✔ 2. Valid Email Address Required

You must provide a valid and accessible email address.

• This must be an email account the candidate can receive messages from.
• All registration information (including the form link) will be sent there.
  Failure to receive emails due to incorrect addresses, spam filters, or security settings cannot be fixed by the organisers.

3. What Happens After You Get a Ticket

• You will receive the JLPT registration form link.
• The form must be submitted within 24 hours of your application.
• Missing the deadline means no seat for the December 2026 exam.

Ensure you can receive emails from Eventbrite and SOAS.
We cannot resend the form if your email blocks or loses it.

4. Registering Multiple Candidates

If registering more than one person:

• You must make separate purchases.
• Only one ticket per transaction is allowed.

5. Accessibility & Special Accommodation

Candidates needing special accommodations must:

1. Submit their JLPT registration form first.
2. Then email us immediately after submission to request accommodations.
