WHY IS IT CALLED YACHAY?

• In Quechua, a language spoken by the indigenous peoples of the Andes Mountain Regions, "Yachay" means knowledge, wisdom, or learning.
• "Yachay" is often seen as a communal activity, where elders pass down their knowledge to the younger generation through oral traditions, apprenticeship, and participatory learning.
• The term "Yachay" has come to symbolize broader societal transformation. It reflects the desire to shift from traditional, resource-based economies to ones that are driven by education, innovation, and sustainable development.
