An ADU for U: Little Rock ADU Design Competition Showcase + Award Ceremony

Join Our Little Rock and AARP Arkansas as we celebrate the winners of the "An ADU for U" Design Competition — a citywide call for innovative accessory dwelling unit (ADU) designs that make living in Little Rock more affordable, flexible, and age-friendly.

Throughout the afternoon, you'll get an up-close look at entries submitted by Arkansas architects, designers, builders, and students, each reimagining what backyard cottages and attached guest suites can look like under the city's new ADU ordinance.

Walk the gallery of displayed drawings, hear brief remarks from our core team and panel of judges, and be there as we award top honors — including a $1,000 first-place prize — to the designs that best blend local context, livability, and universal design.

This free, public event is open to entrants, judges, city officials, media, housing advocates, and anyone curious about the future of housing in Little Rock.
