What is Play Without Limits?

It is Disability Partnerships' 10th anniversary community celebration at Nationals Park highlighting Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Month, celebrating the disability community, and raising support for our DP's free and virtual programs.

Who is invited to attend?

Accepted Answer

The event is intended for people with disabilities, veterans, members of the spinal cord injury community, family members, caregivers/companions, healthcare professionals who work with the spinal cord injury community,  partner organizations, volunteers, and invited supporters.

Question 3

Can I bring a guest, family member, or caregiver?

Accepted Answer

Yes, but each guest must be included on the registration form so the team can plan seating, accessible seating, companion seats, check-in, and communication.

Question 4

Will transportation be available?

Accepted Answer

The committee is working on accessible transportation options. Guests who need transportation should mark that need on the registration form so the team can follow up with details.

Is accessible seating available?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Guests should identify wheelchair seating, companion seating, and other access needs during registration so the team can prepare the seating manifest and coordinate with Nationals Park.

Why is the event so long?

Accepted Answer

We plan to have an opportunity before the game to meet and greet and highlight the importance of spinal cord injury awareness month.  The game starts at 4:05 but the pre-game event is 1:30p.m.   You do not have to attend the pre-game event.  However, we do plan to have giveaways and lite bites.

Will I receive my baseball ticket with my eventbrite registration?

Accepted Answer

No, you will receive your baseball tickets for the game closer to the event.  But you must register with eventbrite before you can receive the tickets.  We will send details via email closer to the game date to let you know how to get your tickets.

Can I volunteer at the game?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we desperately need volunteers.  Send us an email and let us know if you are willing to volunteer and help at the event.
