Hope to Home Mini Academy - KICK OFF

Welcome to Hope to Home Mini Academy!

Join us as we explore topics that will help you move from a hotel to a more permanent housing option. Practical topics will be explored in a quick 30 minute session. The academy will run for 5 weeks. You can expect to receive information about moving from your present situation. No shame, no blame just support, hope, encouragement and practical tips and strategies to move forward. The academy will meet online :

Each Tuesday the session starts at 7:00 pm EST and last until 7:40 pm with the last few minutes open for questions.

All participants are eligible to apply for the Hope Housing Stability Assistance Award

Purpose

The Hope Housing Stability Assistance Award is intended to provide temporary financial assistance to participants who demonstrate readiness to transition toward permanent housing while reducing the immediate risk of homelessness.

Awards are made solely to advance the charitable mission of Hope for Tomorrow International, Inc. and are not prizes, incentives, lotteries, or raffles.

Hope Housing Stability Assistance Award Policy

Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Complete all five (5) Housing Education classes.
• Attend at least 90% of each session.
• Participate in required activities.
• Submit a Hope Housing Stability Award Application and housing plan by the stated deadline.
• Currently reside in a hotel or be at imminent risk of homelessness.
• Demonstrate financial need.
• Be at least 18 years of age.

Hope for Tomorrow International Inc. reserves the right to exclude anyone suspected of fraud.

Temporary email addresses will not qualify for award.

Hope for Tomorrow International Inc. will pay the hotel directly the base rate for a standard room for one week, maximum value of $400.

No Cash Value: No cash substitution, cash equivalent, or transfer of rent payment is permitted.

Payment will be made directly to the hotel in the amount equal to a base rate for a standard room for one week, maximum award $400. Paid in the name of person on the application. This payment is non transferable. No cash will be distributed to the applicant.

Publicity and Release: By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Hope for Tomorrow International inc. and In City Suites from any liability, loss, or damage incurred in connection with the award. Except where prohibited, acceptance of award constitutes consent to Hope for Tomorrow International Inc.’s use of their name and likeness for promotional purposes without further payment.
