Join Chris Mara (owner of Mara Machines and Welcome To 1979) for a fun, hands-on demo of modern hybrid workflows—creative ways to blend Mara tape machines with DAWs—plus plenty of time for Q&A. We’ll also do a tape shootout comparing a Mara ¼" two-track vs ½" two-track, recording multiple musical styles through the same monitoring chain and listening for differences in low end, stereo image, noise, transient response, and harmonic character, along with the technical “why” behind what you’re hearing. We’ll also discuss modern tape formulations by RTM Tape and all the features/options available on our Mara Machines. Adult beverages - including "Mara-ritas" made in our own custom Tape Machine blender - provided.
