FREE Scything workshop - Frome Valley Growing Project

This structured beginners' scytheing workshop runs from 10.00am to 4.00pm. The day includes how to set up a scythe optimally, how to keep it sharp, and how to mow with an efficient movement. These are the three key factors in successful use of a scythe. There is also an emphasis on safety, and cut-resistant gloves are provided for the day.

Scythes will be provided to use on the training day.

This is a free event provided by Frome Vallye Growing Project and Frome Valley Environmental Network thanks to funding from South Gloucestershire Council and the Stronger Together fund.
