My Druthers is a New London, Connecticut-based maritime folk group delivering rowdy sea shanties, Irish rebel songs, historic ballads, and original working-class anthems with the urgency and attitude of a punk band. Known for boisterous harmonies, acoustic instrumentation, and crowd-driven performances, the group turns centuries-old maritime traditions into loud, communal singalongs built for packed pubs, festival stages, and anyone ready to raise a glass.

Their debut full-length album, *Coming Up 3’s*, blends traditional songs of the sea with original material that carries the same rebellious spirit into the modern era. Produced by Pete Steinkopf of The Bouncing Souls, the record showcases My Druthers’ ability to honor folk tradition without treating it like a museum piece—adding grit, humor, queer identity, and punk-rock energy to every song.

With international touring experience and a growing following throughout the maritime, Celtic, and folk-punk communities, My Druthers continues to bring songs of rebellion, solidarity, hard living, and life at sea to audiences far beyond the New England shoreline.
