Join us for an exciting afternoon of padel, networking, and fundraising as we come together to support Bury Hospice.

Whether you're a seasoned player or relatively new to the sport, this event is designed to be fun, inclusive, and a fantastic opportunity to meet like-minded professionals from across the local business community.

12:30 PM – Arrival & Registration

Meet fellow participants, grab a refreshment, and get ready for an afternoon of competitive yet social padel.

Tournament Briefing

Before play begins, Rick will explain the tournament format, answer any questions, and direct players to their starting courts.

Tournament Format – Mexicano

The event will use the popular Mexicano format, which keeps the competition fair, engaging, and highly sociable throughout the day.

• Partners and opponents are randomly assigned for each game.
• After the opening rounds, the format naturally groups players of similar ability, creating balanced and enjoyable matches for everyone.
• Every player has an equal opportunity to score points, regardless of experience level.
• Each game is played to a total of 24 points, with players accumulating individual points across all rounds.
• At the end of the tournament, individual scores will determine our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers.

One of the biggest advantages of the Mexicano format is the networking opportunity it creates. With regular rest periods between matches and constantly changing partners and opponents, you'll spend time meeting and chatting with professionals from a variety of businesses throughout the afternoon.

Once the tournament concludes, you're invited to stay for food and drinks. It's the perfect opportunity to continue conversations, make new connections, celebrate the day's winners, and support an incredible local charity in a relaxed social setting.
