An extraordinary evening awaits at 71Above: a rare Petrus vs. First Growths dinner, designed for an intimate group of collectors and Bordeaux lovers.Once we reach 10 guests, we will open two vintages of Petrus alongside two First Growth Bordeaux. At 12 guests, the full lineup will be opened, creating a truly exceptional tasting experience. Seating is strictly limited to 14 guests.Pétrus is one of the most revered names in Bordeaux — a wine of extraordinary rarity, depth, and prestige. Produced in Pomerol from old-vine Merlot grown on its legendary blue clay soils, Pétrus is known for its power, elegance, and almost mythical ability to age.Unlike the grand châteaux of the Médoc, Pétrus comes from a small, singular estate with no formal classification — yet it stands among the most coveted wines in the world. Rich, velvety, and profoundly complex, Pétrus represents the pinnacle of Right Bank Bordeaux and remains a benchmark for collectors, connoisseurs, and once-in-a-lifetime wine experiences.1st Course — White BordeauxChateau La Garde, Blanc, Pessac-Leognan, Bordeaux, France, 2019 $39.95 | 92 PointsDomaine de Chevalier, Blanc, Pessac-Leognan, Bordeaux, France, 2016 $157.95| 99 PointsChâteau Margaux, Pavillon Blanc, Second Vin, Bordeaux, France, 2022 $209.95| 94 Points2nd Course — PetrusPetrus, 1975 $2,750.00| 98+ PointsPetrus, 1983 $3,500.00| 93 PointsBlind Wine Where from and how much?3rd and 4th Course — First Growths / Entrée CourseChâteau Mouton Rothschild, Pauillac, Bordeaux, France, 2000 $2,495.95| 97 PointsChâteau Margaux, Premier Grand Cru Classé, Bordeaux, France, 2000 $1,749.95| 100 PointsChâteau Haut-Brion, Grand Cru Classé de Graves, Pessac-Léognan, Bordeaux, France, 2000 $1,329.95| 100 PointsChâteau Latour, Pauillac, France, 2000 $1,500 | 100 PointsChâteau Lafite Rothschild, Pauillac, France, 2000 $1,500 | 99 Points5th Course — SauternesSauternes TBA *Wine list may change without notice (we must reach 12 guests minimum and then all wines will be shown.
