<h2>Community Gathering: The America we are weaving</h2>Join us as we celebrate both the art of weaving and America's 250th anniversary through a unique community circle and collective art experience. Together, we will reflect on the stories, values, and relationships that have shaped our communities and our nation, while exploring our hopes for the future.Participants will share in meaningful conversation about what it means to be an American and create a individual flag that represents them. We will then create a collective flag to represent all of our uniqueness, creating a living work of art that symbolizes the many threads that connect us. Armando Garcia with Queer Craft Corner will be our Weaver Spotlighter and will help us create our personaized art.We'll also enjoy an old-fashioned ice cream social, offering time to gather, connect with neighbors, and celebrate together. Please bring a topping of your choice for the ice cream! Feel free to bring something unique!As we honor 250 years of America's story, we also celebrate the everyday acts of weaving—building trust, fostering belonging, and strengthening the fabric of community for generations to come.
