Join us for an evening of connection, storytelling, and community as we open the doors to A Peace of My Mind's studio in St. Paul.
Whether you've been part of this journey for years or you're discovering our work for the first time, we'd love to welcome you for a behind-the-scenes look at what we're creating lately and where we're headed.
Doors open at 6:45 p.m. for conversation, snacks, and time to explore our original portrait exhibit. We will be screening John Noltner's new 12-minute TEDx talk on a loop, exploring how we can move beyond toxic polarization through deeper listening and human connection.
At 7:15 p.m., we'll begin a one-hour program featuring:
- An update on our exciting new statewide storytelling initiative in partnership with the McKnight Foundation.
- A presentation from Nick Theisen, who will share his emerging work exploring the meaning and possibilities of elderhood.
- An introduction to our newest team member, Razik Saifullah, and the perspective he brings to our growing work.
- And, and, AND...We will be launching a new podcast series in partnership with journalist Barry Yeoman called North Star Way: Minnesota navigates a harsh season. Barry will join us for a conversation about the new work.
Throughout the evening, you'll have the opportunity to view our original exhibition, reconnect with friends, meet new people, enjoy light refreshments, and spend time in a space dedicated to curiosity, compassion, and meaningful conversation.
We hope you'll leave inspired by the stories, encouraged by what's ahead, and reminded that peace is something we build together—one relationship at a time.
