DNS-OARC is a non-profit, membership organization that seeks to improve the security, stability, and understanding of the Internet's DNS infrastructure. Part of these aims are achieved through workshops.

DNS-OARC Workshops are open to OARC members and to all other parties interested in DNS operations and research.

  By invitation only. First-time attendees interested in attending should indicate this during registration. We will contact invited attendees.
• Workshop Day 1
  9 November, approximately 10:00–17:00
• OARC 47 Social
  9 November, approximately 18:00–20:00

• Workshop Day 2
  10 November, approximately 09:30–15:00
• Members’ AGM
  10 November, approximately 15:30–17:00
• Community-led Meetings (more information on the event site)

Registration Fees:

REMOTE Attendance:

• US$170 (Members within allocation / Speakers)
• US$200 (Others)

IN-PERSON Attendance ( INCLUDES OARC 47 SOCIAL REGISTRATION -1 PER REGISTRATION):

• US$467.50 until Oct 2nd ; US$552.50 thereafter (15% discount applied for Members within allocation /Accepted Speakers)
• US$550 until Oct 2nd ; US$650 thereafter (Others)

Fee Waivers/Discounts

To help broaden participation, OARC offers a limited number of fee waivers or discounts for members of under-represented groups and those facing financial hardship. Requests are reviewed individually—please e-mail meeting@dns-oarc.net for details.

OARC is a small nonprofit and has limited resources to subsidize free spaces

Funding DNS-OARC Workshops:

We are currently seeking further funding for the workshop. This can be done in various ways:

1) Sponsoring OARC 47

2) Annual Workshop Patronage (in the calendar year 2026)

3) Donation

4) Adding an additional amount to your registration of OARC 47 - by selecting both your "Registration" and the "A Little Extra" options on the registration page.
