Workshop Location: Cafe Alma: 888 Ines Ave, SF, CA- 94124
Workshop Description
In this two-hour workshop, you’ll learn how to transform upcycled t-shirts and textiles into fabric yarn and how to crochet them into a one-of-a-kind basket.
Bring your own fabric scraps to work with (cotton knits and t-shirts are ideal) or select from our provided materials. We will guide you in creating zero-waste fabric yarn and demonstrate techniques and patterns for crochet-binding the fabric yarn into a structural shape. Beginner crochet experience is required to attend this workshop (must know how to chain and single crochet).
