Can I bring my children to the Expo?

The Expo is for individuals 18 years of age and older.  You may attend if you are under 18 and are currently enrolled in Nail/Cosmetology School. *****THE ONLY EXCEPTION TO THIS RULE IS NURSING INFANTS UNDER THE AGE OF 1. BABY MUST BE WORN IN A CARRIER , STROLLERS ARE NOT PERMITTED.

I have questions on the Hands On (IN PERSON), Submitted , or Virtual  INJA  Nail  Art Competitions

Accepted Answer

Virtual: MUST be on practice hand with glued tips (No tip boxes).
Submitted: Use professional tip box. Bring In-Person or Mail-In.
Theme: Artist Choice.
Deadline: Received by July 31, 2026.

Can I bring non licensed adults?

YES, *** Only Licensed Nail Tech /Cosmetologists or Actively Enrolled Students can purchase from Vendors.  Artist Assistant Passes will be available for $30  cash-only purchase on the day of the show. This allows entry for one extra assistant (18+) per purchased Expo/ Competitor ticket.

Can I buy a ticket at the door?

YES, but for $65 CASH ONLY along with pro beauty license or student documents & photo ID for verification. You'll receive a General Admission wrist band

When should I arrive to Event Center If attending the Expo?

Accepted Answer

-For optional paid Classes on Saturday, arrive at your Classroom 15-20 minutes before schedule start time.
For the Sunday show = depends on what ticket type you have purchased.  Expo doors open only to VIP ticket holders at 9am(CST) while General admission will start at 10am(CST)

Can I attend if my country does not have professional Licensing?

Accepted Answer

YES! Just bring your nail tech certificate & your photo ID from your country to show during the Check-in process at the door.
-A photo on your cell phone of your nail tech certificate will work as long as it's clear and easy to read.

Question 7

Can unlicensed salon owners/managers attend?

Accepted Answer

We understand many salon/spa owners & managers are not licensed beauty pros. Each will need to show photo ID & documentation during the Check-in process at the Registration window such as: 
-paystub from the salon/spa with the person's name on it.
-printed business card with person's name &title.

Question 8

Can Beauty/Trade School students attend?

Accepted Answer

YES! "Student" = already taking classes at a Beauty/Trade school PRIOR to the show date. If you're enrolled AFTER the show date ,you cannot attend in 2026.
All Students must show photo ID + student ID or documents with beauty/Trade school enrollment confirmation on school letterhead.

How do non licensed owners/managers purchase tickets?

In the Eventbrite checkout process:  insert the salon/spa business license number in the box where it asks for a pro beauty ID number.

Will Vendors take cash and/or cards?

Accepted Answer

YES, both cash & card will be accepted.

Question 11

Is my ticket transferable?

Accepted Answer

YES, actually it's "editable" to change your ticket into someone else's name + info!  Sorry, but NO tickets of any kind are refundable & tickets cannot be carried over to a future show year. You may sell or gift your ticket to another licensed beauty pro by following the directions In Eventbrite FAQ

What is your refund policy?

Accepted Answer

NO REFUNDS given on Expo or Competition tickets, but you may sell your ticket to another licensed beauty pro - see Eventbrites FAQ's for how to change your ticket information to buyer.

Question 13

Can Children/Nursing Infants go into Competition area?

Accepted Answer

No, Children/Nursing Infants are not allowed in competition areas.

Question 14

INJA Entry Minimums

Accepted Answer

In accordance with INJA standards, a category must have a minimum of three (3) entries to proceed. If a category does not meet this minimum, the competition may be canceled or merged at the organizer's discretion.

Competition Cancellation

Accepted Answer

Competition Cancellation: Only in the event that a specific competition category is canceled by the organizer due to low entries will a refund be issued for the competition portion of the ticket.
