Cutter and Cannon's Toast to Timothy Matlack at Carpenters' Hall

Cutter and Cannon's Toast to Timothy Matlack at Carpenters' Hall

Overview

Learn about one of history's forgotten founding fathers, Timothy Matlack, featuring Cutter and Cannon's famous Revolutionary Spirits!

Brews, spirits, and history: The perfect combination for this special July as we celebrate 250 years of American independence.

Join us at the historic Carpenters' Hall on Saturday, July 18, from 5–8 PM for an evening of all three, hosted by Cutter and Cannon Spirits and orated by Mike Teti.

Throughout the night, we’ll recount the story of one of America’s forgotten Founding Fathers: Timothy Matlack — soldier, master brewer, and the scribe of the Declaration of Independence — one of the most fascinating figures in American history.

It’s a story that pairs perfectly with Cutter and Cannon’s line of Revolutionary Spirits. Based in West Chester, PA (210 Carter Dr Suite 5B), we craft and bottle a wide range of rums, bourbons, gins, and more, all inspired by the American Revolution. These spirits will be available throughout the evening, along with our newest release, The Scribe American Pilsner, inspired by Matlack’s contributions to American history. Guests will also be able to enjoy a selection of signature cocktails and featured spirits, as well as purchase all of our bottled spirits to enjoy after the event!

Tickets are limited and include your first drink plus a special Cutter and Cannon commemorative “The Scribe” glass!
