ABOUT ANNA KOVATCHEVA:

Anna Kovatcheva was born in Bulgaria, raised in Virginia, and earned her MFA at New York University. Her debut novel, She Made Herself a Monster (HarperCollins 2026), was completed while in residence at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. She previously published a chapbook, The White Swallow, with Gold Line Press, and her short fiction has been anthologized in Best American Nonrequired Reading and has appeared in The Kenyon Review and The Iowa Review. She lives in Brooklyn, NY.
