Tuesday 6/30 Work Party

Please join us for our Tuesday, June 30th work party at Great Pond Preserve 2! We will be removing invasive plants along the trails to promote ecosystem health.

We can meet by the trailhead at the south-east corner of Sweet Fern Rd (between 15 Gladys Rd & 18 Sweet Fern Rd). It's at the back of a couple residential looping roads, so folks can park anywhere, trusting no one blocks a driveway. I'll bring some gloves, clippers, and shovels to share, and if anyone has those at home, they can bring their own to use, as well. We also ask all volunteers to bring a water bottle, and recommend wearing pants with tall socks (thorns & bugs), plus sunscreen.
