Removal of invasive plants (Especially oriental bittersweet) at the Davis Parcel
Please join us for our Thursday, July 2nd work party at the Davis Parcel! We will be removing invasive plants to promote ecosystem health.
If you are able to join us, we will be meeting at the trail head on Tiger Lily Lane (between 22 and 23 Tiger Lily Lane). We will be working in the northeastern corner in the Davis Parcel from the sides of an unofficial trail. If you will be joining us later, please come find us down the trail that starts at the wooden sawhorse pictured in the cover photo for the event, it is off the traditional trail!
Please bring any of your own personal equipment that you think you may need, there will be some provided if you show up at the beginning. I'd at least recommend gloves but a shovel or clippers could be helpful as well if you show up later. Remember to bring sunscreen, water, and anything else you may need.
If you have any questions, please reach out to assistant@capelandtrust.org or (207)240-5173. We hope to see you out there!
