Introduction to Long Stitch Book Binding

Join me for Introduction to Long Stitch Book Binding. This is an advanced book form and is best for students with prior book binding experience. This traditional book form is made with a flexible cover, exposed stitches and multiple signatures. All the paper will be pre-cut to size and I will walk you through each step required to complete each project. You will be able to choose the color and design of your cover and add functional and decorative elements to the final piece. All materials will be provided and you will take home hand illustrated instructions so you can make many more books in the future. As always, there will be snacks and drinks to keep us going during this three hour class.

This class will be limited to 8 participants.

Meet at Art Emergency, 721 E 9th Street at 1 pm.

There are no cash refunds, however the price of the class can be used as credit in a future class, either for yourself or a gift to another, credit towards private lessons or a deposit on a custom commission paper garment.

Classes will be canceled if less than 4 people sign up. At that time, the ticket may be applied to a different class or refunded. Note: Eventbrite will keep approximately $10 in fees from the refund.
