From Inflammation to Intervention: Advancing Cardiovascular Care in Rheumatic Conditions.

Join us on October 2, 2026, for the 8th Annual Cardio-Rheumatology Symposium, a multidisciplinary educational event bringing together leading experts from rheumatology, cardiology, nephrology, and respirology from Canada and the United States. The Symposium is pleased to partner with the Division of Rheumatology, University of Toronto, as part of the City-Wide Rheumatology Rounds.

This year's program explores the evolving intersection of cardiovascular disease and rheumatic conditions through three core scientific themes:

  • Cardiovascular Involvement in Autoimmune Conditions
  • SGLT2 Inhibitors in Rheumatology
  • Cardiovascular Safety of Rheumatologic Therapies: From NSAIDs to Biologic Agents

Featuring eight internationally recognized clinicians, researchers, and educators, the symposium will provide practical, evidence-based updates through expert lectures, case-based discussions, and interactive question-and-answer periods. Attendees will gain insights into emerging therapies, cardiovascular risk assessment, and collaborative approaches to the management of patients with rheumatic conditions.

The symposium will be held in person at Women's College Hospital in Toronto, Canada, and will also be live-streamed for virtual attendees worldwide. Registration includes access to the conference recording and a certificate of attendance reflecting CME accreditation. Access to the conference recording will be provided to registrants for 30 days.
