Do you like improv? Do you like making up songs? How about a chance to do both?
Well you're in luck, because Leela is hosting a Leela Community Musical Improv Jam!
That's right, a fun opportunity to practice musical improv and get some reps, among a friendly and supportive group.
What is musical improv?
It's like regular improv, but sometimes we break into song. If the music director (pianist) hears something that should be a song, they start playing and we start singing!
What can I expect from this jam?
The chance to play with others from the Leela community, meet new people and explore different musical forms!
Do I need to be a "good" singer?
Hell no! ALL singers highly encouraged!
Do I need to have musical improv experience?
Also no! As long as you like improv and are open to breaking into song, you'll be in good company!
The musical improv jam is open to all levels of experience.
