Veterans Memorial Park

House music is a genre of electronic dance music (EDM) that originated in Chicago in the early 1980s. It draws inspiration from disco, funk, soul, and various other genres.This concert is part of the Village of South Holland's Ravinia-style* Concert in the Park series.*Ravinia-style means attendees may bring their own chairs/blankets, food and drink, similar to the Ravinia Festival in Highland Park. Food and drinks will also be available for purchase at food trucks (nachos and BBQ) and at the concession stand. There will be no seating set up for the concert.Concert Details:Time: 7-10pmLocation: Veterans Memorial Park, 500 E 160th PlaceTickets: $10 per person (Kids 5 and under are free)NOTE: The concert will go on, rain or shine. Refunds will not be issued if it rains.PARK CONDITIONS: Although we’ve had a lot of rain this week, the park is still in good condition for the concert. The ground can be a bit soft and muddy in some areas, so you may want to choose shoes that you don't mind getting muddy.PARKING: Free parking is available at:· West parking lot of Veterans Park (enter at the memorial on South Park Ave) Note: Handicap parking is available in this lot· First Reformed Church – 15924 South Park Ave· New municipal lots at Louis Ave and E 161st St (behind SoHo Shops)TICKETING:-Gate opens at 6pm. Entry gate is located at the park’s west entrance (near the playground). The concert runs from 7-10pm.-You must show either your mobile or printed ticket to enter. We will scan the QR code at the ticket gate. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the gate.-If you ordered tickets for another person, you can share that ticket with them in the Eventbrite app. That person can also give the last name of the ticketholder at the gate.GUIDELINES:Bring:Chairs, tables, blankets, and any food and beverages you may want. Food and drinks will also be available for purchase at food trucks (nachos and BBQ) and at the concession stand.Do Not Bring: Firearms, tents, pets, grills, or fire pits.Security: For your safety and the safety of all our guests, all items brought into the park (including coolers, picnic baskets, bags, backpacks and purses) are subject to search upon entry.
