The Power of the Second Act - A Fundraiser for The Healing WELL
Join us for an inspiring afternoon supporting The Healing WELL and celebrating new beginnings and second chances!
Your support enables The Healing WELL to bring wellness, hope and connection to San Francisco's Tenderloin neighborhood. The afternoon will feature a screening of the acclaimed documentary FIGARO UP, FIGARO DOWN, the remarkable story of Tim Blevins, a Juilliard-trained opera singer whose journey through homelessness reveals the resilience of the human spirt and the transformative power of music. Following the film there will be a special panel discussion with:
Javid Soriano - Documentary Filmmaker
Tim Blevins - Opera Singer and Star of Figaro Up, Figaro Down
Together, they will explore the themes of the film and discuss how art, dignity, beauty and human connection can illuminate even the most challenging circumstances. The conversation will focus on finding light, beauty, and song in the Tenderloin, and the role that community plays in helping people heal and thrive.
All proceeds benefit The Healing WELL, supporting programs that foster wellness, belonging, and stability of residents of supportive housing and others experiencing homelessness in San Francisco.
Come be inspired. Come be part of the conversation. Come help bring hope and healing to our neighbors.
Together, we can create a city where every person is seen, valued and given the opportunity to flourish.
